Chico Basin Ranch

The Chico Basin Ranch is the definition of the old west prairie. This 87,000 acre ranch is located less than an hour away from the Colorado Springs Airport and is a quick drive to prime mule deer hunting. If you combine the tamarisk creek bottoms, rolling cholla cactus prairies and several alfalfa fields, you have one excellent recipe for great Colorado mule deer and massive herds of pronghorn.

One of the most appealing aspects about our mule deer hunts is that they are all hard-horned hunts. Ever wanted to hunt a mulie in the rut with a bow? Here is your opportunity. Land owner tags are available, but can also be drawn if we sell out.

We offer a variety of pronghorn hunts at reasonable prices. The Chico has a plethora of antelope and finding animals is effortless. There are some great water holes on the ranch for setting up blinds. We also have pit blinds and use decoys.

All packages include cabin-style lodging with three home-cooked meals per day. We supply you with an experienced guide and provide all tree stands, blinds, etc.
